Pastor and/or Leader

Monthly I attend a group called Pastoral Leadership Development. It is a great time to learn but the interesting piece is to listen to other pastors talk about the church(s) they are serving. I will say right up front, thank you Jesus for North Star. Oh the stories that I hear but cannot share; they are dosies! The character of our church as a group of followers of Jesus Christ who are looking to be Christ through word and deed is refreshing to share. I hear about people who see church as a full-service gas station. I get someone else to pump the gas, check my oil, wash my windshield, and run my credit card to the machine. Thankfully North Star is not such a place!

The other think I am noticing at our church is an increase in people who are becoming regular attenders! Not sure what the draw is but I am thankful that you are coming! I hope God is blessing you as you bless God and us with your presence.

I am jazzed about Sunday…got some fun videos that I am using that I may post to the blog next week! Might watch for them.
